Looking for trained machinists in brisbane to help prepare over the next 3 weeks for an upcoming parade. This is for work experience only but will most likely lead to paying work in the near future if you work out.


You must be:

• Trained and be able to present exceptional high quality work
• Preferably have experience with industrial machinery
• Be reliable and available over the next few weeks.

Preferably you will also:

• Be able to draft patterns, both flat and on the stand
• Use an industrial cutter
• Possibly be able to work after hours if necessary when it gets closer to the show.

Own transport would be preferable but not necessary as we are on the bus route in the inner city region. The ability to make swimwear and lingerie would be advantageous too but also not absolutely necessary.

This will most likely lead to paying work very near future so consider this like a trial rather than work for free! You will also get refernces, see the work we do on the catwalk in this and other shows, have the opportunity to experience and be a part of photo shoots (so if you are interested in high fashion styling, great!)  and have the oportunities to meet and network with other designers, media and industry professionals.
